What's up lately?
1 week past just like that *snap finger* Anyway, i'm still coping well with the whole new environment in Seletar camp, wasn't quite used to it at first and I guess that's a norm for all human beings. About my work and job scope, the difference is there. While my friends are slacking away at 3 Div, I'm slogging real hard with another 2 friends and we're totally green to the vehicle we're dealing with. However, I received a piece of good news on friday. I smell my promotion coming on the 9th this month. Well, just a corporal, but at least there's an extra force to keep pushing myself and to do well in my job. 1 more year 5 more months.... Yes, i'm counting down, I want to join SQ....
Meet up with my ex-unit mates yesterday for dinner at Carls Jr. Just update on each others' life though we haven't seen one another for only a week. Like i've mentioned earlier on, they're slacking, while i'm slogging. What to do?! Supposed to have a game at Superbowl, but the staff just pissed us off with his attitude. He made us waited for half hour and claimed that someone booked ahead of us, when obviously, we wrote down our particulars on the waiting list first. So what did angry tristan did? He took the red pen, slashed off our names so hard that the piece of paper nearly tear, on top of that, he played punk with other customers' names queuing behind the list. That's nasty, but blamed it on the staff who's unreasonable. Don't spoil my lovely friday evening! Next I got home, changed and meet Jas and Ariel for supper at Simpang Bedok. As usual, its prata (I've been craving for it since yesterday evening), thereafter we went to East Coast park for a drink. Ariel had Red wine, Jas had Jack Daniel while I had my Vodka Rasberry. We've plans to go Aussie next year, probably April. And it will be a road trip from Sydney to Gold Coast. Its gonna be fun since we're gonna drive. So i've gotta save real hard.
Got home at 230a.m, KNOCK OUT!
Anyway, I'm going to bed soon. Have to wake up early tomorrow for Tomb Sweeping. Sometimes I just can't believe each year past so fast. Its as if we went tomb sweeping only yesterday... and now, 1 year is gone....
